The winery Liberalia is a Spanish based familiar business owned by Juan Antonio Fernández. Their wine varieties are named as a numerical succession from the youngest to the oldest one. This is the label and packaging I designed for their limited edition wine named 4'5.
The logo design is inspired on the grapevine leaf shape. Its colors come from the wine itself, making the leaf look like it has been created from wine stains. The handwritten typeface gives the design a fresh and handcrafted appeal. To reinforce this artisanal look, the final labels were printed on textured paper, giving personality and intensifying the product’s authenticity.
